Until now, Callimac was the manager's tool. Team members only received occasional links by email: a self-assessment to fill in, feedback to give. Everything else happened without them.
Starting today, they have their own space.
Follow-up is no longer something done to team members, but with them: they see their week, own their commitments and receive the summary of their conversations, approved by their manager.
What team members find in their space
They sign in with their own credentials and land on their space. No more digging through emails for links.
They are notified when a review is scheduled or moved, when feedback is waiting for them and when a summary is available. A guided tour and a checklist tailored to their space help them get started.
Review summaries drafted by AI, approved by the manager
This is the part I'm proudest of. During a one-to-one, the manager takes notes as usual. Callimac turns them into a summary for the team member, aligned with the company's review templates and stripped of private elements.
The manager reviews, adjusts and approves. Nothing is published without them, and they can still edit the summary after publication.
The benefit is simple: what was said is written down and shared, and the next conversation starts from the same page for both.
Managers stay in control of what remains confidential
Opening a space to team members doesn't mean showing them everything.
This confidentiality is enforced server-side, not just hidden on screen: a team member only accesses what concerns them, never a colleague's data.
On the manager's side, actions and rituals can also be viewed team member by team member, with a "New action" button right on each one.
For managers who also have a manager
Many managers report to someone themselves. They keep a single account for both roles and switch between their manager space and their team member space from the profile menu, without signing in again. They have a single action list, where each action shows whether they own it as a manager or as a team member. A visual cue always shows which space they're in.
For HR: a controlled rollout
The feature is enabled company by company. HR decides who invites team members: HR only, or each manager. A team member who reports to several managers keeps a single account, and their space brings everything together.
Why we built it
An action plan that only the manager knows about remains an intention. When team members see their commitments, own them and check them off themselves, follow-up becomes a conversation rather than a file. Callimac remains the managers' assistant: this space simply extends their work to the person it concerns.
